About us

We, Book Nook kz - a team of a mother and her two daughters. You could see and hear the eldest daughter when she reviews books (on her Instagram profile @booknook_kz), and her mother behind the scenes: she carefully selects an assortment of the best fiction, children's literature and poetry, and also advises and offers books.

My husband and I, like many others, read a lot with children. We read books on different topics, appropriate for the age. I can see what effect reading has on the all-round development of a child.

My oldest daughter learned to read in English at 3 years and 8 months. At the age of 7, she read so many books, ranging from the very hungry caterpillar to the last part of Harry Potter in English.
My youngest daughter is still only interested in reading, watching her older sister. Her library currently has hardback books with catchy rhymes.

Many of our books were bought by us on trips, since in Almaty, at that time, we faced a lack of high-quality children's literature in English.

The selection of books in this store will, to a large extent, be based on the experience of reading books in English by my daughters. There will be no random books, which once read, children will forget.

We have an amazing range of inspirational and quality children's books for all ages.

We believe that the most important element of our store is our relationship with our customers.
